The resort looks nothing like the pictures online. The rooms were not clean, and the food was terrible. To make matters worse, the road leading to the location is extremely bad and dangerous. I highly recommend avoiding this place, especially if you are traveling with family. It is simply not safe or comfortable.

​This property is mislabeled as a resort, as it lacks standard amenities, activities, and room views, resembling a basic homestay instead. General maintenance is also lacking. Additionally, guests should be aware that the access road is in very poor condition. It is not suitable for vehicles with low ground clearance, and navigating it at night is highly discouraged

I had a very disappointing experience at Kakkadampoyil#Kairali Resort#. The resort lacks basic facilities and proper maintenance. The rooms were not clean, and the overall atmosphere was not pleasant or relaxing as expected.nThere are no amenities like a swimming pool or play area, which was quite surprising. Also, the room provided was non-AC, but this was not clearly mentioned beforehand, which felt misleading.nOverall, the place does not match expectations, and the management should seriously improve cleanliness, transparency, and facilities before hosting guests.

The resort is 4 km from Kakkadampoyil town. You can reach it via two routes. One route is extremely narrow. Google Maps directs us through this path. If another vehicle comes, it would be difficult to give way. The other route is somewhat wider. It's better to come through this route in coordination with the office. Some parts of this road are badly potholed and broken. The resort is located in a fairly elevated area. They offer only 4 rooms for tourists. The rooms are reasonably spacious. The two upper rooms have sit-outs. You can enjoy the cool night breeze there too. The rooms provide only bath towels and soap. No kettle. Food must be ordered from outside. If a group comes and pays an extra ₹600, you can use their limited kitchen to cook your own meals. Most people coming to Kakkadampoyil prefer resorts with pools. The manager says the pool construction will start soon. This area is ideal for spending time with family and friends, chatting amidst nature away from the city's hustle. The resort has Wi-Fi. No BSNL range. Mr. Asis, the manager, will be available for all assistance.

Don't book just by looking at the photos. It's like a lodge that you can only book after you go there. The actual place is very dirty and doesn't feel like it's worth the money we pay.
